Our Ospitalità Diffusa in Silvi was born out of love. The reason we created this project is to make others fall in love with this incredible land:
People willing to discover the most authentic spirit of our territory during their holidays in Abruzzo. When you find yourself looking at the sea and the Torre del Cerrano from the Silvi Alta viewpoint, you’ll understand how easy it is to fall in love here. This is how it all began: in the early 20th century, Bonantonio and Carmela were two lovers kept apart by their families. But, as they say, Amor vincit omnia! With determination, they managed to marry and later build the property that today houses Relais Borgo sul Mare, still managed by their family — ours. It was our father Ledesmo who first saw the potential of the house as a hospitality venue; today, we happily continue this love story for Silvi Alta and for sustainable, slow tourism. A choice off the beaten path for your holidays in Abruzzo.
Over time, we developed the idea of distributed hospitality in the village. It’s the experience of living Silvi Alta (also Silvi Paese) within Relais Borgo sul Mare or the holiday homes, offering our guests additional dining, shopping, and leisure services.
Silvi Paese is a fishing village dating back to before the Middle Ages, perched on masonry arches and overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The view from the lookout stretches from Vasto to Conero.
Here, the pace flows slowly, gazing at the waves of the nearby Torre del Cerrano Marine Protected Area.
